·Products should be unpacked immediately upon receipt to prevent moisture from accumulating between the packaging and the product. This can lead to uneven rust spots.
·The products come without a layer of rust. The rusting process on Corten steel takes about 4-5 months, depending on the weather conditions.
·Rust can be removed by applying Owatrol. This is a penetrating rust inhibitor that forms a protective layer against rust. Owatrol protects the product and prevents the Corten steel from discolouring.
·During the rusting process, rust water can be released from the product.
·The water elements should be placed on a solid, level surface.
·The pH value of the water should be neutral (7) so that the material is not attacked.
·Clean the product annually by spraying off coarse dirt with tap water.
