The circle is considered the most perfect shape in Islamic tradition. Its poets praise the mouth circle because it is round and therefore the most beautiful shape of all. This belief is common to all cultures of the world because it symbolizes God and heaven, wholeness, perfection, eternity. Oh Lamp is inspired by this tradition. Viewed from above, it draws a circle, a perfectly round exclamation that floats forever in time and space.
