Inspired by a Scandinavian design that is over 300 years old, Danish designer Povl Eskildsen has created a modern version of this Danish classic with the dining chair CARMEN.

The Carmen dining chair owes its contours and gentle appearance primarily to its rounded corners and edges. But the organic transition from the backrest to the chair legs also significantly determines its appearance.

The seat is made of Danish cord (HDPE), a handmade weave that is characterized by its robustness and elegance combined with a pleasant feel.
