Otto was inspired by a rhythmic band pattern commonly found on Italian bar counters from the 1940s. The collection also references antique architectural columns with their typical fluted pattern. With just one simple element, an endless, interesting surface can be created, which not only significantly reduces the waste of precious teak, but also creates a durable, timeless design suitable for many outdoor uses.
